Over the weekend, a mysterious barge appeared near Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay. Stationed at the end of the former Navy base, CNET's Daniel Terdiman wrote that the structure may be a new data center for Google. The barge is 250 feet long, 72 feet wide, and 16 feet deep, and was built in 2011. Terdiman pointed out that the company could be in charge of it since they took over a section of the island called Hangar 3.

It's unknown what projects are being worked on in that section of the island but the newest rumor is that the ship could be a prototype Google Glass store.

CBS San Francisco reported this news and claims that the boat is a marketing center promoting the new wearable computer. Work is halted due to the company struggling with permits. CBS's report is above but the circumstances surrounding this project is still a mystery.
