The Thanksgiving holiday has quite a cinematic spread this year with The Muppets, Hugo, My Week with Marilyn and A Dangerous Method.

Hugo tells the tale of an orphan boy living a secret life in the walls of a 1930′s Paris train station. When Hugo encounters a broken machine, an eccentric girl, and the cold, reserved man who runs the toy shop, he is caught up in a mysterious adventure that could put all of his secrets in jeopardy.

Star race car Lightning McQueen and his pal Mater head overseas to compete in the World Grand Prix race. But the road to the championship becomes rocky as Mater gets caught up in international espionage.

That’s a pretty major cast. Paul Rudd plays a well meaning (sorta) idiot, who imposes on his family after he gets arrested for selling weed to a cop…in uniform.

This week’s new releases on DVD and Blu-Ray include Michael Caine revenge actioner Harry Brown, Tyler Perry formula movie Why Did I Get Married Too and… Marmaduke.
