A woman named Stevie Marie Vigil, has been arrested in connection with the murder of Colorado Prison Chief Tom Clements, reports ABC News. Colorado police believe that Vigil bought the gun that was used to kill Tom Clements and that she transferred the gun to Evan Ebel, the main suspect in the murder.
It's not known what connection Vigil has to Ebel but police and the FBI are investigating the possibility that Ebel was not acting alone. There is also a possible connection between the murder and Ebel's ties to the white supremacist gang, "212."
Vigil is a resident of Commerce City, Colorado, about 60 miles south of Monument, where Tom Clements was murdered. The gun was purchased in Englewood, Colorado by Vigil. Ebel was unable to buy a gun due to being a convicted felon.
If convicted Vigil could face 16 years in prison.
