Shots Fired at Orlando-Area High School: One Person Wounded

A shooting has been reported at Agape Christian Academy in Pine Hills, Florida, close to Orlando, reports WESH. Shots rang out in a playground on school grounds at around 2 p.m.

1. One Person Was Wounded

One person was shot in the hip. It's believed that a confrontation took place in the schools playground. The victim is being treated at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Click Orlando have said that the injuries are not life-threatening. The victim is a 16-year-old boy.


2. The Shooter Remains at Large

The shooter fled the school grounds. WKMG reports that nobody has been arrested.


3. Law Enforcement Locked the School Down

Authorities have surrounded the school.


4. Police Have Said an Ongoing Feud is the Cause

5. The Shooting Occurred at a Private Christian School

The school is a private-Christian school that caters for every grade between kindergarten and high school. It's located less than ten miles away from the center of Orlando, Florida.
