Lena Dunham thinks your first time should be a special experience — be it in the bedroom or the voting booth. Last night, the creator of HBO's GIRLS posted a tongue-in-cheek comfort video supporting young womenready to take their first big step into adulthood.
Dunham, an award-winner screenwriter, actor and director, has received conservative push back for satirizing both sex and politics in a video funded by the president's campaign.
RedState editor-in-chief and CNN contributor Erick Erickson wrote:
If you need any further proof we live in a fallen world destined for hell fire, consider the number of people who have no problem with the President of the United States, via a campaign ad, ridiculing virgins and comparing sex to voting."
