A lightweight tilt between Joe Lauzon and Curt Warburton is set for “UFC on Versus 4” this Summer.
The news was delivered by ESPN.com earlier today.
Lauzon last competed at UFC 123 against George Sotiropoulos, losing to the contender via submission in the second round. The loss was his first in ten months, though he did pick up a victory over Gabe Ruediger at UFC 118.
Warburton, meanwhile, will enter this contest coming off a victory, defeating Maciej Jewtuszko at UFC 127 via unanimous decision. The 155 lb. prospect debuted in the promotion with a loss to Spencer Fisher at UFC 120.
“UFC on Versus 4” is set for Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania this June. A main event has yet to be named, but heavyweights Cheick Kongo and Pat Barry could headline the card.
