WWE’s Bo Dallas: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Bo Dallas

During the post-WrestleMania XXX edition of WWE RAW, wrestling fans got reintroduced to a superstar they briefly got a chance to see compete once before – Bo Dallas. His re-debut is coming soon and it’s time that WWE fans believe…no, BO-LIEVE in themselves and others.

Here’s 5 fast facts you need to know about Bo Dallas’ impending return to the WWE main roster, his past accomplishments and which wrestling family members he has a relation to.

1. A Introductory Vignette Was Shown for Him on the April 7, 2014 Edition of WWE RAW

During April 7, 2014’s exciting installment of WWE RAW, an introductory video was shown for a returning superstar who only got a brief chance to participate on WWE’s main shows. Bo Dallas narrated the vignette seen above, in which he took on the role of a motivational speaker. This video marks the impending return of Bo to WWE’s main roster. The WWE Universe will now get a better insight into the “Bo-liever” movement.

2. He’s Been A Staple of WWE’s FCW and NXT Federations

Bo Dallas

Back in 2008, Bo Dallas (real name Taylor Michael Rotunda) officially signed a developmental contract with WWE and got sent down to WWE’s former training federation Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). From 2008 until 2012, Bo Dallas competed on the FCW roster until WWE re-branded the fed into NXT. From 2012 until the present time, Bo continued to compete as an up-and-coming superstar for the WWE.

During Bo’s tenure in WWE, the fans in attendance began to turn on Bo’s babyface character. This reaction soon led to Bo adopting a new persona – a slimy, unlikable motivational speaker who always told the crowd to “Bo-lieve!” and back him as their main superstar. Dallas’ most recent NXT feud was against Adrian Neville (Bo lost the title to Neville on NXT ArRival).

3. He’s Claimed Several Championships During His Time in Florida Championship Wrestling and NXT

Bo Dallas

During Bo’s tenure in WWE’s FCW and NXT training territories, he claimed several championship titles on several occasions:

– FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship (3-time)
– FCW Florida Tag Team Championship (2-time)
– NXT Championship (1-time)

Bo’s other accomplishments come in the world of high school wrestling and football. Bo actually qualified for the state wrestling championship and played football as a linebacker at Hernando High School. He almost became the recipient of a football scholarship at Webber International University, but he decided to pursue professional wrestling after that college plan fell through.

4. He Actually Made His WWE Main Roster Debut Back in 2013

Back in 2013, Bo Dallas qualified for the WWE Royal Rumble that year after winning an eight-man NXT tournament at the 1st-ever Royal Rumble Fanfest. Bo entered the Royal Rumble at number 16 and actually eliminated the Intercontinental Champion at the time Wade Barrett. Bo didn’t win the 2013 Royal Rumble however, but he went on to compete against Wade Barrett on WWE RAW for a few weeks afterward.

You can check out one of Bo Dallas’ WWE RAW bouts against Wade Barrett in the video above.

5. He’s Related to a Bunch of Past Wrestling Superstars

Bo’s sister Mika also competes as a professional wrestler.
