Lloyd (appendix) has no restrictions at practice and is slated to be a full participant when Green Bay's OTAs begin May 27, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. Lloyd was limited to just one appearance in his rookie season, first due to a hamstring injury sustained during the Packers' preseason opener, then an ankle sprain that required seven weeks on IR to heal, and finally appendicitis that popped up just after his practice window opened. Now that he's healthy, the 2024 third-rounder again faces opportunity to compete for the No. 2 role behind workhorse Josh Jacobs. Green Bay didn't make notable additions to the running back room in free agency or April's draft, though Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks proved capable last season and remain on hand. Lloyd boasts playmaking speed and pass-catching chops, but after having missed most of training camp and the regular season in Year 1, he may still have developmental work to do relating to the ball-security issues that plagued him in college.

Latest Packers News
MarShawn Lloyd : Practicing without restrictions
Kalen King : Impressing at camp
King has looked "really, really good" throughout the Packers' offseason programs, Jason Wilde of Channel 3000 reports. King spent most of his rookie campaign on the Packers' practice squad, but he now appears to be making a push for the active roster ahead of the 2025 season. The second-year corner has played in the slot and on the outside, providing Green Bay with much-needed secondary depth during offseason programs. If King continues to impresses the Packers' staff, he'll likely earn a spot on the 53-man roster as a depth piece in the cornerback room.
Elgton Jenkins : Not attending workouts
Jenkins is skipping Green Bay's offseason workouts, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports. While Jenkins has recovered from the shoulder injury he suffered during the team's wild-card loss versus the Eagles in January, the 26-year-old is instead holding out due to a contract dispute. Jenkins could be moved from guard to center ahead of the start of the upcoming season and it remains to be seen when he'll rejoin the team.
Jadon Janke : Signs with Packers
The Packers signed Janke on Wednesday. Janke spent time with both the Texans and Dolphins during the 2024 offseason but has yet to appear in an NFL game. He will face an uphill battle to make Green Bay's final roster and could be a candidate to land on their practice squad.
Jayden Reed : Bulks up in offseason
Packers passing game coordinator Jason Vrable said Wednesday that Reed (shoulder) has bulked up to 199 pounds this offseason and is acting as a leader in the wide receiver room, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Reed's playing weight was listed at 187 pounds last season, so if he's able to retain his quickness despite adding bulk, additional muscle will boost his odds of managing a Year 3 breakout. General manager Brian Gutekunst said that the team still views Reed as its "top receiver" despite drafting Matthew Golden (23rd overall) and Savion Williams (87th overall) in the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft, but it's nonetheless difficult to project exactly how much target volume the slot specialist will be able to demand in what now looks like one of the league's more crowded WR rooms. Reed has managed to lead Green Bay in both receptions and receiving yards in his first two seasons in the league, but he's not yet strung together a 1,000-yard season. He was forced out of the team's playoff loss to Philadelphia early due to a dislocated shoulder, but Reed was able to avoid surgery and offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich said he "looks great" at voluntary practices.
Christian Watson : Progressing in rehab
Head coach Matt LaFleur said Friday that Watson (knee) has "been outstanding" in his recovery from the torn right ACL he suffered in early January and is "working hard," Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. LaFleur said Watson's work ethic approaching his ACL rehab has been impressive, per Ryan Wood of USA Today, but the timing of the young wideout's injury sheds serious doubt on his availability for the early portion of the regular season. Green Bay also invested significant draft capital at the wide receiver position in April's draft in the form of first-round pick Matthew Golden and third-rounder Savion Williams. With all of Jayden Reed (shoulder), Romeo Doubs (concussion), Dontayvion Wicks, Bo Melton, Mecole Hardman (knee) and Malik Heath also on hand, the Packers boast one of the league's most crowded receiver rooms, meaning Watson will face tough competition for snaps even if he enjoys an exceptional recovery timeline.
Quay Walker : Fifth-year option declined by team
Walker had his fifth-year option declined by the Packers on Thursday, though the team still wants to work out an extension, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports. The 2022 first-round pick has recorded 121 (75 solo), 118 (59 solo) and 102 (72 solo) tackles across his three pro regular seasons, respectively, leading Green Bay in the category each year. Walker did miss seven combined games due to injuries the last two seasons, including three with an ankle issue and one with a concussion in 2024. Despite those injuries, Packers GM Brian Gutekunst called Walker "really impactful," "a great leader" and a player the team "would love to have" around "for longer than just a couple years," per Demovsky.
Devonte Wyatt : Option picked up by Green Bay
The Packers exercised Wyatt's (lower leg) fifth-year option Wednesday, Christian Kirby of Sports Illustrated reports. The 2022 first-round pick from Georgia will remain in Green Bay through the 2026 season after the team exercised his option Wednesday. Wyatt has been one of the Packers' top pass-rushers over the past two seasons, recording 59 total tackles, including 10.5 sacks, across 31 regular-season games. Now recovered from the lower leg injury he sustained in last year's wild-card loss to the Eagles, Wyatt is expected to serve as one of the Packers' starting defensive linemen in 2025.
