Burly Sports: The Past Year in Sports 2008

Nick Stevens and the Ghost of Burly Sports past take a look at the top 10 awful places and stuff to happen in sports in 2008.

After complaining about the past year in sports, the Hot Ghost of Sports Past joins Nick in this Burly Sports special episode: Top Five to Ten-ish Awful Places and Things and Stuff that Happened This Year in Sports Spectacular Show.

Their first stop is New York City where Nick comments on the Yankees and the Knicks. They then travel to Dallas, Texas. Nick makes fun of Mark Cuban, Romophobia becoming a term for fear of playoff victories, Sean Avery's sloppy seconds comment and the Cowboys in general. Derek Jones is constructing a new football Death Star while T.O. still points the finger at his teammates.

Next, they oversee the Mitchell Report but are unable to warn anyone of what's to come. Finally, Nick and the Hot Ghost of Sports Past head to Seattle, which she describes as the worst sports city in the country. The Sonics are gone, the Seahawks are having a terrible season and the Mariners had the worst MLB record this year. However, Seattle gained the Lingerie Football League's newest team, The Mist.

And to close things up, Nick and the Burly Sports Show presents a borderline Not Safe For Work cheerleader photo montage. Happy New Year!
