The Dodos: "Fools"

The Dodos were formed in 2006, originally under the moniker Dodobird, as a one man acoustic act. Founder Meric Long experimented with syncopated folky guitar, country blues finger picking, loops, ambient keyboards and West African Ewe drumming, before adding experimental metal drummer Logan Kroeber. The band quit their day jobs as a line cook and a printer and hit the road in October 2006. "Fools" is the lead-off single from their sophomore album, "Visiter."
