True Gearheads
You gearheads will appreciate this look behind the scenes with Ryan Millen and Kevin Necessary's crews. Check out all the modifications being made to their FJ Cruisers for the Taupo 1000.
"Two Roads to The Taupo 1000" is the story of two off-road racers, on two very different paths, to one distant finish line. Ryan Millen is the 23-year-old son of New Zealand off-road racing legend Rod Millen. Kevin Necessary is a 36-year-old photographer and novice off-road racing enthusiast from Long Beach, CA. Both are prepping Toyota FJ Cruisers to compete halfway around the world in the longest, most brutal off-road race in the southern hemisphere. Get ready to buckle up and go behind the scenes to watch what it takes for one pro and one amateur to not only make it to the start of New Zealand's Taupo 1000, but what it takes to make it to the checkered flag.
