Apple has set the final release date & download for the gold master of OS X Mavericks. This version of the operating system will be free and will be available today. The download should be posted on the Apple Store shortly since the iPad announcement has ended. The program looks great with enhanced graphics and longer battery life. The update is optional so don’t be scared if you think it will wreck your computer.
