Valve has confirmed the existence of living room hardware called Steam Box. The official product is supposed to enter the market in 2014 but Valve is offering a contest for a selection of lucky users to test out their new prototypes. Here is how you can enter.
1. Enter Valve’s Elegibility Quest
Users must join the Steam Universe community group. Agree to the company’s hardware beta terms and conditions which requires adding a certain amount of friends. After this step, make sure to create a public Steam profile. Finish this process by playing a game using Steam’s Big Picture mode.
2. Complete Process Before October 25
The process mentioned above must be completed before this date. Details are still scarce about what these Steam Boxes may entail.
