Google announced a nationwide tour for Google Glass beginning on October 5th. It will start in Raleigh, North Carolina with more cities being revealed soon according to the company's Google+ account.

Before today, the only way you could get your hands on Google Glass was to pay $1,500 for its Explorer program but these demos are wide open to audiences and completely free. The most prominent members of the Google Glass team will be in attendance to answer any questions including Amanda Rosenberg.

The Verge notes that Google may be opening up retail stores to show off their products. Despite this, its unsure when Google will actually be releasing this new product. If the rumors are correct, we could see a massive quantity launched to the public sometime in 2014.
