Twitter, released its #Music app to a handful of celebrities last week, and announced its app on ‘Good Morning America’ today. Starting today Twitter’s #Music app will be available at: https://music.twitter.com.It will also be a separate app for the iPhone. You can download Twitter #Music app here. 1.’Good Morning America’ Got an Exclusive Look at the iPhone App
‘Good Morning America’ was the first to get an exclusive look at Twitter’s #Music app. The pages feature a grid made up of songs and artists. All you have to do is tap on one of them and the song will automatically start playing with a CD animation that shows up in the bottom left hand corner. If you tap on it you will see an enlarged CD. You can drag, fast forward or rewind within the song.

2.Twitter’s Music App Will Help You Find Popular Music That’s Popular on Twitter
The app is centered around four pages or tabs, which users can swipe through to access. The Popular page will show new music that’s trending, the Emerging tab shows “hidden talent found in tweets,” and the Suggested tab shows artists you might like based on the artists you follow. The #NowPlaying tab shows what songs your friends are listening to or tweeting about.

3.You Don’t Have to Leave the App to Listen to Music
Twitter has integrated current music services like Spotify, Rdio and iTunes to allow you to play songs right through the app or web page. With iTunes, you can hear a preview, and with Spotify and Rdio, users can login in with account information and continue to add additional music providers to the app.

4.Artists and Bands Will Be at the Center of the Experience
You can go to artists Twitter profile pages within the new app and see what artists they are following and listening to. Twitter says, “its like getting recommendations fem your friends, but your friends are superstars. ” You can search for artists in the search field and play a from the selection of songs from the artist.

5.Twitter Acquired We Are Hunted
It was just last week that Twitter announced it had acquired “We Are Hunted,” a company based in Australia that created a music recommendation and streaming app. We Are Hunted was developed and launched in 2009 as a tool allowing users to discover, play and share new music online.
