New Tablets Expected To Debut At MWC 2013

Mobile World Congress is the largest annual exhibition of mobile devices, involving the largest players in the mobile industry. This year’s MWC will be held at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, and is expected to have upwards of 70,000 people in attendance. MWC is best known for debuting some of the industry’s most prominent devices. Here is a list of new tablets we can expect to see at MWC 2013.

1. Google Nexus 10 Tablet

It’s being rumored that Google will launch a new and improved version of the Nexus 10 tablet at MWC. The new tablet will feature an 8-core T628 graphical processor, 2GB of RAM, and will run on the latest version of Android.

2. ZTE V81 Android Tablet

ZTE has announced a new tablet named the V81. The V81 features an 8-inch screen, a dual-core 1.4GHz processor, 3,700mAH battery, 1GB of RAM, and will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It will also have two ports, one for USB and one for HDMI. It will also come with a GPS and BlueTooth 2.1.

3. Hyundai T7 Android Tablet

And you thought Hyundai only made cars. Hyundai’s newest Android Tablet is called the T7. The T7 has a 7-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution, is powered by a Samsung Exynos 4412 processor, 3,000mAH battery, 1GB of RAM and will run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It will also feature 8GB of internal storage, 0.3MP front camera and 2MP rear camera.

4. Asus FonePad

The Asus FonePad will soon be launched. The device will come with a 7-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution, is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor, 4,270mAH battery, 1GB of RAM and will run on an Intel made Atom processor. The Asus FonePad will also have a microSD memory card slot, 1.2 camera (front) and 3MP camera (rear).

5. Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Thanks to Apple releasing its iPad mini, Samsung will be in direct competition with the Galaxy Note 8.0. The Galaxy Note 8, code named “Kona,” will come with a 8-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution, is powered by a 1.6GHz Exynos 4412 Quad Processor, 4,600mAH battery, 2GB of RAM and will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. There will be two versions of the Galaxy Note 8, a16GB and a 32GB version. According to a new report by YouMobile, Samsung will launch three versions of the Galaxy Note 8. The GT N5110, GT N5105, and GT N5100.

6. Samsung Tab3

According to International Business Times, Samsung is planning to launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab 38.0 at MWC 2013. The Galaxy Tab 3 will have a 7-inch display with a 1280 x 800 resolution, is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Cortex-A-15 processor, will run on Android 4.2.1 and will be priced between $149-$199 to compete with Google Nexus 7.
