Research In Motion announced that the company will now be called simply Blackberry during the press conference for BlackBerry 10 this morning.
Thorsten Heins, Chief Executive said, “From today on, we’re BlackBerry everywhere in the world. Today represents one consistent brand that is recognized around the world. We have reinvented our company.”
Mr. Heins also unveiled the new BlackBerry 10 operating system, along with the BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10. Both of which are powered by the BB10 operating systems.
