When evil Gargamel chases the Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their world into ours – the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high, the Smurfs must find a way to get home before Gargamel tracks them down. Is there any way this can be anything but terrible?

The story of Rio is more than enough to make up for the cheap 3D effects, and amazingly, propels this tale into anyone’s Best of list for 2011 (so far).
