So the big question going into Cop Out isn’t “is it funny” – of course it’s funny, it’s Kevin Smith and Tracy Morgan. The big question is “how much of a Kevin Smith film is it.”
It’s no surprise that I have a fascination with terrible movies even when I’m not getting paid to write about them, which is probably why I’ve seen The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift eight times. This is worse.
If you can’t get out to the air-conditioned wonderfulness of a movie theater, at least you can stay in the air-conditioned wonderfulness of your TV room with these new releases on home video.
