UFC welterweight DaMarques Johnson has been released by the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The preliminary card for “UFC on FUEL TV 5″ is complete, and Brad Tavares, Gunnar Nelson, and Robert Peralta walked away with impressive victories.

DaMarques Johnson will meet Gunnar Nelson at “UFC on FUEL TV 5,” as Rich Attonito was concerned about making weight on short notice.
