Despite being shot in the head, Malala Yousafzai has no hate for the people that want to kill her.
The Pakistani education and women's rights activist appeared on Jon Stewart's Daily Show and had some amazing things to say. It's truly mind-blowing to see someone who has been so tormented, in danger, and generally abused have the maturity and good-heartedness to say what she does. In the video, Jon Stewart asks her what she would do if attacked by the Taliban again, she says:
I'll tell him how important education is, and that I even want education for your children as well...that's what I want to tell you, now do what you want.
Malala appeared on The Daily Show for the one-year anniversary of when a Taliban gunman climbed aboard the bus she was riding home from school and shot her in the head.
Yesterday she released a memoir detailing her life in Taliban-ridden Afghanistan. Malala currently lives outside the country, but the phrase "I am Malala" remains a battlecry for education rights activists the world over.
