Tufts University may be a prestigious institution, but it has held up an interesting tradition of getting into the news for some... unusual stuff. The east-coast college that made headlines for passing a strict "no sex in your dorm if your roommate is inside" policy in 2009 has made a Drake-inspired addition to their application essay options. Yep, I said Drake.
The dedicated high school students who look to join Tufts' hilly and picturesque campus in 2014, will have to think critically and answer the following essay question: "What Does #YOLO Mean to You?"

Tufts — known for its "quirky" applications" — asks applicants to keep answers between 200-250 words while urging them to think outside the box. As it says in the instructions, "Take a risk and go somewhere unexpected. Be serious if the moment calls for it but feel comfortable being playful if that suits you, too." TRANSLATION: Do whatever you want cause you only live once #YOLO.
