Yesterday marked July 4th, America's National Independence Day. It also happened to be a day after the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, one of the most important and bloodiest battles of the Civil War.
One would think that The History Channel, a channel with History in the damn title might block off the entire day to honor these events, not the case. As one Redditor pointed out The History Channel is no longer about History, but pawn shops.

You really dropped the ball on this one, History Channel. Just go ahead and get it over with, change your name to Pawn Shop Storage Wars Channel.
