"No more college co-ed boobs on Twitter?! Oh no! What will freshmen do?!"

According to the Daily Dot, popular Twitter account KU Boobs will soon cease to exist, at least with any sort of affiliation concerning the University of Kansas.

First off, since when did colleges have their own Twitter accounts dedicated to the cleavage of its female student body? Secondly, as Animal House cliche as the idea of college girls taking revealing photos of themselves in school gear is, isn't it their freedom to do so?

Not surprisingly, KU's administration isn't a fan of the Twitter account and while they say they aren't trying to close the account down, they do have a problem with the account profiting off the KU name. KU Boobs (yes, we feel silly just typing that) has been selling merch with the KU logo on it, violating KU's federal trademark.

Some students are upset about the ruling and have been showing their support for the "boobment" with supportive wristbands.

Looks like the men of KU will just have to gawk at women's chests the old fashioned way from now on. In the meantime, here are some of the account's last Twitpics to bid it farewell.
