Dave has always given much of himself. Huge Bandit fan, 4 children, 2 grandchildren, working 10+ hours 6 days per week. Always assisting family and friends in need. Currently rebuilding a trans-am for his son who is serving in Iraq.

As a kid I Idolized the Bandit! I had a Bandit big wheel and imagined I was Burt Reynolds being chased in hot pursuit by Buford T. Justice. I memorized every line in the movie and to this day, my friends and I still laugh quoting it. I've always dreamed of owning a Bandit Trans-Am and when I heard about the contest I had to be a part of it. A group of friends and I got together to make this clip. We've never done anything like it before but had an absolute blast doing it!What can I say, WE WANT TO WIN!!! Burt, this one's for you. I eat sleep and dream about Burt 24/7. I love to dress like him, hat shirt, mustache, chest hair and all....watch my daily family life as I live like Burt and get into a bit of a shuffle with the sheriff because they actually think I'm Burtt!!! Good times. I have the rights to the audio, and permission from everyone in the video!! :) And btww! At the end of the video I say "pick me burt, pick me" for some reason when I saved it, it got messed up :(

I am not overly familiar with submitting videos, but I wanted to do this for my brother Len. It's not a very professional video, but I wanted to do this without him knowing, and hope it works. We have a very close family, and I try to go out of my way for my brother, as he has had nothing but hardships since he had an accident with his 1980 Trans Am as a teen. In the last 10 years, he has almost lost 2 children, and had a surgery that left him disabled for several years . He now works so hard to make ends meet for himself and his family, and I would love to see him get this car.
