Google is getting ready to launch Google Shopping Express, a new service that will compete against Amazon Prime and eBay Now. It’s being said that Tom Fallows, e-commerce product manager at Google is running the project.

An unnamed source is saying Google Shopping Express will cost about $64-$69 a year and will offer users same day delivery. The price of Google’s Shopping Express will be saving customers $10 to $15 compared to Amazon’s Prime.

At this time Google representatives had no information to share about Google’s Shopping Express, however they did say, “We are always working to build a delightful shopping experience for users, in close partnership with retailers, and to empower businesses of all sizes to compete effectively,” the spokesperson said in an email. “We will continue to work toward providing technology, tools and traffic to help power the retail ecosystem but have nothing to announce at this time.”

TechCrunch didn’t go into much detail, but it was mentioned that retail stores such as Walgreens, Target, Walmart and Safeway might be retail partners. Google is in the process of testing out Google Shopping Express with its employees.
