Police Investigate Reports of Gunman on University of Arizona Campus

Police converge on an administration building where there were reports of a sighted gunman.

Police converged on the University of Arizona campus in Tuscon on Friday after receiving reports of a gunman in its administration building, reports AZCentral.com.

University officials alerted students around 5:15 p.m. local time warning them to keep away from the building.

Faculty and students were told to evacuate the building. There were no reports of any injuries and after a few hours of searching, the campus police department gave the all-clear and the area of the campus was reopened.
