NFL Greats Demand a Plan to End Gun Violence

The Demand A Plan organization’s latest video ad features an impressive line up of NFL greats advocating gun control in lieu of the countless shootings in America. Retired NFL stars Marshall Faulk, Michael Irvin, Deion Sanders, Emmitt Smith and LaDainian Tomlinson star in the new public service announcement

“How many more halftime moments of silence?” Irvin asks.

“It’s time for our leaders to do something,” Faulk adds.

The campaign demands a plan to end gun violence and is sponsored by Mayors Against Illegal Guns, founded by Mayor Bloomberg, that has been campaigning for gun control for several years.

Following the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre, the Demand A Plan organization released an ad featuring A-list celebrities demanding action.
