Joan Rivers, comedienne and plastic surgery advocate, is some deep trouble again.
On Monday night's episode of E!’s “Fashion Police,” while reviewing Heidi Klum's Oscar night gown, the 79-year-old comedienne quipped "The last time a German looked this hot was when they were pushing Jews into the ovens."
The Anti-Defamation League was all over it. ADL director Abraham H. Foxman released a statement on their website saying "Of all people, Joan Rivers should know better. This remark is so vulgar and offensive to Jews and Holocaust survivors, and indeed to all Americans, that we cannot believe it made it to the airwaves."
Rivers, herself Jewish, refuses to apologize for her joke. She released her own statement to ABCNews, saying "My husband lost the majority of his family at Auschwitz, and I can assure you that I have always made it a point to remind people of the Holocaust through humor."
Joan got into trouble during this past summer with the ADL after she compared Costco's refusal to carry her book to the beginning of Nazi Germany.
Eh, I've seen Heidi look hotter.
