After being in development for about a year, Carbon for Android is finally available in the Google Play Store. The new app will give Twitter users access to their Twitter content on one screen. The app will also offer its users messages, mentions and show their timeline on the home screen.

At this time the new app doesn't work with Android tablets. Sorry Android tablet users, but good news is that the makers of the app, Dots & Lines, are in the process of working on a separate app for Android tablets. Dots & Lines says the Twitter client with come with around 100,000 API tokens. The tokens are used for Android Users who want to take advantage of what Carbon has to offer. Please note the app does not also support real-time updates.
