Asus has announced a new line-up of phone-tablets at its press conference at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The two new products include the FonePad 7-inch mobile phone, and the PadFone Infinity, which is an Android Phone that can turn into a 10.1-inch tablet. Here are 5 fast facts you need to know about the PadFone Infinity.

1. Asus PadFone Infinity Turns a Smartphone Into a Tablet

Asus revealed the PadFone Infinity at Mobile World Congress. When you plug in a 5-inch LTE smartphone into the PadFone Infinity Station, the device will turn into a 10.1-inch tablet.

2. You Can Talk On the Phone For Hours

The PadFone Infinity features a 5-inch display, a 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, HSPA +Radio, runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has a 4,270mAH battery. With a battery that size you will be able talk on the phone up to 19 hours over 3G, without having to charge your phone.

3. The Camera Works Well in Low-Light Situations

The PadFone Infinity has a 2MP camera in the front and a 13MP camera in the back. The device also comes with a f2.0 lens that will help in low-light situations. You will be able to shoot 100 shots at 8FPS burst mode.

4. PadFone Infinity Will Come With Exclusive Asus apps

The PadFone Infinity will come with exclusive Asus apps, including Super Note 3.1 which is for taking notes, creating stories for photo albums, and you can add in voice control with Asus Echo.

5. The Asus PadFone Infinity Will Be Released in Spring

Asus confirmed the PadFone Infinity will be released in the Spring. The device will be priced at 999 Euros in the U.K  and in the U.S. it will cost $249. We’re not sure of the exact release date, but expect it to be released sometime in March or April.
