Two middle-aged drunk women forced a British Airways flight to make an emergency landing in Lyon, France after causing a disturbance while in the air.
The pair, aged 43 and 50, swore in front of children, refused to return to their seats and tried to barge their way through to the cockpit after they were seen drinking Malibu rum from the bottle aboard the flight. They also reportedly threatened to track down and kill the family of one of stewardesses.
What I would give to had been on that flight... In all honesty, it was probably hilarious to watch and it probably looked something like this:
Okay, it was probably a lot more violent than that scene from "Bridesmaids," but we can leave that to our imaginations.
The flight was on its way from London’s Gatwick Airport to Tunis when it made the emergency landing in France.
“Our customers and flying crew deserve a safe and enjoyable flight experience,” an airline spokesperson said. “We do not tolerate any disruptive behavior on board our flights.
When the plane touched down in Lyon, the pair were thrown in jail for the night and put on a return flight in the morning. Not surprisingly, they are both now banned from British Airways.
