In a press conference after the concert, Rivera addressed her decision to divorce Loaiza, who has played for the Pirates, Rangers and Blue Jays in the past.

Rivera and her entourage were headed to Toluca where she was scheduled to tape the television show "La Voz," Mexico's version of "The Voice," which she was a judge.
6. Her Plane was First Reported Missing
Rivera's private jet left Monterry at 3:30 a.m. local time on Sunday morning. It was first reported missing 10 minutes after takeoff.
7. The Wreckage was Found with No Survivors
When the wreckage was at first found, authorities only speculated that it was the remains of Rivera's jet because it disintegrated upon impact. The debris was scattered across a large area and the bodies were unrecognizable. Soon after on Sunday night it was confirmed that the wreckage was in fact the remains of the singer's jet. Rivera's melted California driver's license was found at the scene.
8. Rivera's Family Spoke Out About the Tragedy
"We are feeling devastated. It's a devastation to the family," her brother, Pedro Rivera Jr., told E! News. "We were having a beautiful morning and then we received the news from my brother. 'Go see mom because we can't find Jenni's plane, we don't know what's happened to her. That's when it started, really early at nine in the morning. I came to my mom's house. We started getting the news. Then at around 5 p.m., we got confirmation that she was gone. It was so painful."
"When we do find out what has happened with the body, because they have to get it out of the woods there. As soon as they get the bodies out and we receive the news that they're there, all the family is gonna fly over there and bring our sister back. We don't know how to thank you for all the love you gave to Jenni and to all the family. It is just so special to have you guys as fans," Rivera added.
"Life is like that. We live and we die. We may be sad, but when God has the last word for all of us in our last days, it's time to go. And this was the way Jenni had to go."
