The powers that be at The X Factor shelled out some big bucks to lure Britney Spears to be a judge on the show. But one season and $15 million later, she’s reportedly getting fired from the gig.
Us Weekly reports that though co-creator Simon Cowell has praised her judging skills in the past, he now wants her out. An inside source says Simon “wanted crazy Britney, but he got boring Britney.”
The X-Factor has gone through many judges in its mere two season run: Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger, Cheryl Cole were all hired and fired, and L.A. Reid announced his departure from the show earlier this month.
How will the show go on without this?
