Twinkies maker Hostess has reportedly agreed to mediation with the Bakers Union, preventing for now a company shutdown that could have spelled the end for the iconic junkfood.

Suddenly, those 600 cases of Twinkies you hoarded are looking like a lousy investment.

Meanwhile, Fortune reports that Hostess may have a buyer in Sun Capital.
