Bin Laden-Killing SEALS Punished for Sharing Secrets for Video Game

Seven badasses from elite Navy SEAL Team 6 have been punished for allegedly sharing military secrets with the makers of the Medal of Honor: Warfighter video game.

One was involved in the epic mission that killed Osama bin Laden.

Rear Admiral Garry Bonelli of the Naval Special Warfare Command made this statement:

We do not tolerate deviations from the policies that govern who we are and what we do as sailors in the United States Navy.

The seven SEALs in question — and possibly four more still under investigation — allegedly violated protocol by (A) failing to get permission to work with the game’s makers and (B) showing them specialized combat equipment.

The SEALs’ punishment kills their chances for advancement:

Was the bin Laden-killing SEAL who worked on the game Matt Bissonnette, the same SEAL criticized by the Pentagon for his tell-all book about the raid that killed the world’s most-wanted terrorist?

The names are of course classified.

But it was previously reported that Bissonnette was working with Medal of Honor.
