Sheen broke his silence today, telling People that (a) Jones is functioning in insane-cult mode and (b) the show is doomed:

Sheen’s Hale-Bopp quip is a reference to the Heaven’s Gate cult, led by Marshall Applewhite, who convinced his followers to commit mass suicide to transfer their souls to a spaceship that was trailing the Hale-Bopp comet.

And his now-viral YouTube video, in which he told viewers to stop watching the evil “filth” of the sit-com that pays him $350,000 an episode, was made by the Christian conspiracy-theory group ForeRunner Chronicles, which also produces videos claiming Jay-Z is an evil Freemason and Michael Jackson’s death was a coverup of the Pope’s conspiracy to create a New World Order.
