Welcome to the first installment of The Mill here at Heavy.com. This weekly column is a quick roundup of the latest rumors circulating through the MMA community. These are stories that we have not personally verified, so take them with a grain of salt.

-- A source close to Strikeforce informed Heavy.com that the proposed Fedor Emelianenko/Alistair Overeem bout could take place in Japan. Overeem's alleged inability to pass a stringent North American drug test may force the company to relinquish the bout to a DREAM card.

-- Roy Nelson and Robert Drysdale got into a scuffle last month in Las Vegas. Both men are expert jiu-jitsu players, but Nelson allegedly got the better of Drysdale. "Roy kicked his ass," a source told Heavy.com. "It wasn't even close."

-- Speaking of Roy Nelson: the new Ultimate Fighter champion used the majority of his training camp to train other fighters. "He never worked out, never trained," said one source. "Roy would show up at various gyms and ask if anyone needed to be trained instead of working on his own game." Obviously, Nelson's decision to avoid training didn't hurt him during the fight against Brendan Schaub.

-- Rich Franklin is growing tired of Matt Hume's domineering ways. The former UFC middleweight champion is only spending a portion of his camps with Hume, and that portion is growing smaller with each camp. "Hume is a guy who has to be right about everything," said a source close to the situation. "He'll argue with you over whether a Quarter Pounder or Big Mac is better."

-- Yushin Okami is now training at Team Quest with Chael Sonnen.

-- If Wanderlei Silva beats Michael Bisping in February, he'll be placed on the short list for potential contenders to Anderson Silva's championship. The bad blood between the two Brazilians could allow Wanderlei to jump in front of more deserving title contenders. He won't jump in front of Nate Marquardt, however.
