Paralympian superstar Oscar Pistorius is dating a 19-year-old paramedic student, Leah Skye Malan, according to The Sun in the UK.

Pistorius, the Paralympian track star known as The Blade Runner, goes on trial in South Africa on March 3, charged with the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. On February 14, 2013, Pistorius shot Steenkamp dead through a door in their home. He claims he thought she was a robber but the prosecution alleges it was murder.

1. When Malan Was On Vacation in Mozambique, Pistorius Swooped

The couple met while on vacation in December in Mozambique. Malan was there with her parents and younger brother. A source tells The Sun, "Oscar and Leah seem really into each other. She's helping him through a difficult time."


2. He's Been 'Wearing a Disguise on Dates'

Since then, the couple have allegedly been meeting in secret, with sources telling the Sun that Pistorius has been wearing a mask to avoid being recognized.

3. Her Family Is Supposedly Okay With Her Dating Pistorius

In January 2014, Pistorius spent time at her family's farm in Potchefstroom, about two hours outside of Johannesburg. According to The Sun's report, Pistorius was "very well received" by Malan's family. The Daily Mail reports that her father, Andre, may even attend Pistorius' trial as a show of support.


4. Malan Is a College Student

She's training to be a paramedic, and is referred to by The Sun as a student.
