Alex Rodriguez Gets 162 Game Ban for Performance Enhancing Doping

Today the arbitrator ruled that Alex Rodriguez’s punishment for his prolonged practice of performance enhancing doping would be a staggering 162-game suspension, putting him on the bench for all of 2014. This decision is less harsh than the original suspension which would have lasted for 211 games.

On his Facebook page, A-Rod responded with a long post saying that the cards have always been “stacked against” him:
