The Angels traded first baseman Mark Trumbo to the Arizona Diamondbacks in a three-team deal also involving the White Sox, AZCentralSport.com’s Nick Piecoro reported on Tuesday.
Dbacks will be getting Trumbo and two players to be named later, Eaton to White Sox, Skaggs and Santiago to Angels.

1. Adam Eaton to White Sox
Eaton, a 25-year-old outfielder, was ranked as a top-100 prospect coming into 2013, according to CBS Sports.
2. Tyler Skaggs, Hector Santiago to Angels
Skaggs is a 22-year-old left-handed pitcher with only 68 innings of experience at the Major League level.
Santiago, 25, owns a 3.41 ERA in 27 starts and 51 relief appearances.
3. Diamondbacks Active in Trade Market
The Diamondbacks, who pursued Carlos Beltran and are still pursuing Shin-Soo Choo, have been looking to make a big splash in the free agent market this offseason.
4. Trumbo Hits for Power But Not Average
Trumbo has belted 95 home runs since 2011, tying him for the fifth-most in the big leagues over that span. However, Trumbo holds just a .299 on-base percentage in 1,853 career at-bats.
5. Trumbo’s Numbers Could Increase at Chase Field
Trumbo’s already impressive power numbers could receive a boost playing in Chase Field – one of the friendliest offensive ballparks in the MLB.
