Senator Robert "Bob" Menendez of New Jersey is engaged to Alicia Mucci of Paramus, New Jersey, reports NJ.com. The senior senator is said to have proposed to Mucci in the Capitol Rotunda just prior to the couple attending a holiday party for members of Congress at the White House.
The New York City native, Menendez, was previously married for 29 years to Jane Jacobsen. The couple had two children, Alicia, a news reporter and Robert. Menedez married Jacobsen in 1976 and divorced in 2005.
