A Mormon doctor who made his wife get plastic surgery so he could drug her up, let her die in a tub and replace her with his mistress has been found guilty of murder.

A jury ruled early Saturday morning in the sordid saga of Martin MacNeill, who six years ago executed an elaborate scheme to off his wife and make it look like an accident.

AP reports he showed "little emotion" upon hearing the verdict. But one of his daughters, Alexis Somers, didn't hide her satisfaction:

We're just so happy he can't hurt anyone else.

MacNeill, who used his wife's post-surgery recovery as a cover for his evil scheme, will be sentenced January 7 and faces 15 years to life.

What's even scarier is that MacNeill's ex-girlfriend claims he murdered his brother in similar fashion. Rufus Roy MacNeill died in a bathtub in New Jersey. Worse yet, the doctor's daughters say he also killed patients.
