On Sunday September 29, Alexian Lien was driving on Manhattan's West Side Highway with his wife, Rosalyn, and couple's infant daughter. The day took a horrible turn when their Range Rover encountered a group of bikers, known as The Hollywood Stuntz. One biker, Christopher Cruz, began driving erratically in front Lien. Eventually a confrontation ensued and the panicked Lien drove through the bikers, running over one, Jeremiah Mieses, leaving him in a coma.
The bikers pursued Lien through the highway before catching up to him in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. Lien was dragged from his car, attacked and stabbed, he was lucky to escape with minor injuries. One of those bikers, the one who smashed through Lien's window with his helmet, has been named as Reginald Chance.

Chance has reportedly "lawyered up" and was expected to surrender to law-enforcement on October 4.

According to the Facebook page cited by the Post, Chance at one time worked as a driver and supervisor for a Bimmy's sandwich shop in Queens.

Fox New York reports that Chance says Lien hit him with his SUV, and he was retaliating.
In the interview Chance tells Fox New York: "Two minutes prior this guy almost took my life from me, and I'm the agressor because I smashed the window?"
5. The Attack Has Been Blamed on a Lack of Racial Profiling
New York Republican Mayoral candidate Joe Lhota blamed Sunday's attack on "hamstringing cops in the name of fighting racial profiling." Lhota said anti-racial-profiling efforts have "emboldened criminals and made us less safe."
