Katelyn Roman was one of the girls arrested over the suicide of classmate Rebecca Sedwick. Roman, 12, was charged with aggravated stalking, which led to the death of Sedwick. Roman's friend, Guadalupe Shaw, 14, was also arrested and charged with the crime. Radar Online has now uncovered some never-before-seen videos that feature Roman saying she wanted her life to end. On another interesting note, Roman made these videos prior to the suicide of Sedwick. So, why would bully Katelyn Roman want to end her own life?
Radar Online reports:
In one gut-wrenching video, recorded on April 25 last year and titled ‘My Secrets,’ the troubled girl sits silently and shows a series of ten notes scrawled on a pad. They included messages which read, “I think I am ugly” and “I think I am fat.” In another somber note, the Lakeland, Fla., girl reveals: “I used to get bullied.” “I want my life to end,” another read. “I hate myself.”
Apparently, the videos were posted on YouTube with a message reading:
These are all my secrets… just have to get them off my chest.
Radar has chosen not to publish the videos, but it's noted that a serious surprise came at the 72 second mark, where Roman gives details on alleged sexual abuse she's endured. When Radar Online approached the family about this news, the family directed the media source to their lawyer, who actually stopped working with the family. Hmm ...
In any event, these videos titled "My Secrets" appear to be a trend across YouTube. Many teens use the same method to self-soothe online as they record themselves holding up pieces of paper with their "secrets" written for the world to see.
