‘US Marshal Shoots Suspect in the Head’ Outside of Popular Philly Restaurant

A US Marshal shot a suspect in the head in the parking lot of Philadelphia restauran in the Penn's Landing area of the city, reports ABC Philadelphia.

Here's what you need to know.


1. One Man is Dead

The suspect was the only person hurt in the shooting, he has been pronounced dead.


2. The Suspect Was Rushed to Hospital

NBC Philadelphia reports that a man could be seen been taken out of the back of a car, put on a stretcher and placed in an ambulance that sped away from the scene.


3. Marshals and Philly Police Responded to the Scene

The shooting happened at around 5 p.m. local time, with Philadelphia police, US Marshals and the Philly Fire Department responded to the scene.

4. It's Reported the Man Was Fleeing the Scene

Neither the man's identity or why he was being pursued by Marshals has been revealed.
