Bones in Ohio National Park Match Missing 19-Year-Old

The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office in Akron, Ohio, has positively identified human remains found in Cuyahoga Valley National Park as 19-year-old Taylor Robinson, according to WKYC. A homicide investigation is under way.

Robinson went missing on May 3. Family and friends of the victim have long suspected foul play in her disappearance, according to Ohio.com.

Five National Park Rangers conducted the search on Monday, locating the missing teen’s remains off a wooded trail. Bones were found scattered along a trail in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Authorities also said a remnants of a bra were also collected.

The teen’s remains are being transported to Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania, to determine the cause of death, which could take weeks.
