Now, it seems as though the “Fancy” rapper has made piece with her past controversy and announced plans for a new single, which will premiere tomorrow on Spotify.

The single, still untitled, will be featured on both the Def Jam compilation Direct Deposit and Azalea’s upcoming solo album, Digital Distortion. Azalea also took this announcement as an opportunity to thank her fans for being patient and supportive of her musical hiatus, which has lasted over three years.

“Also I felt it was important to say; I know it’s been a long wait for my album – SORRY!” she writes on Twitter, before going on to say that “I hope my fans understand my life has been filled with so many personal changes.”

Azalea also went on to announce that she will be releasing music throughout March, to build anticipation for Digital Distortion‘s release later this month. Check out the rest of the tweets below.
