An 18-year-old stripper is being charged with murder and intoxication manslaughter after killing a man on Tuesday morning while driving drunk.
Dalia Iris Alfaro, was drunk when she left her job as a stripper at Sin City, a popular strip club in Houston, Texas.
Shortly after leaving the club, police reportedly attempted to pull over her Dodge pickup truck after it was seen going 60 miles-per-hour in a 35 mph zone. Alfaro tried to avoid the arrest and instead of pulling over, sped up to an estimated 85 mph. It was then that she hit a first car, stopped only momentarily, and then took off again fleeing of the scene.
At the intersection of Westheimer and Eldridge Parkway, shown above, KHOU reports that Alfaro ran a red light and smashed into a green Mazda 3 followed by the driver's side of a Chevrolet Impala.
Alfaro's pickup truck then veered to to the left and hit a cement mixing truck head on and came to a stop.
The driver of the Chevy Impala, 29-year-old Natividad Alaniz, died on impact. He was the only casualty of the incident. Alfaro was reportedly brought to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries. While in the hospital she was arrested and a blood test revealed that she was legally intoxicated.
According to KHOU, Alfaro has prior convictions for evading arrest, graffiti, and possession of Marijuana. She is currently being held on an $80,00 bail.
