A shooting in a doctor's office at 7665 Maple Ave in Merchantville, New Jersey has left two people dead, reports the Courier-Post.

1. A Man Killed His Wife After She Filed For Divorce

NBC 10 reports that Dr. Michelle Liggio was shot and killed by her husband, Christopher, after he arrived at the office during lunch. The couple had been arguing over their upcoming divorce.

Liggio, according to HealthGrades.com, is a 47-year-old osteopath who graduated the UMDNJ School Of Osteopathic Medicine. She ran a family practice in Merchantville/Pennsauken.

2. SWAT Teams Arrived on the Scene

From the Courier-Post: Police activity at Merchantville office building: Police temporarily shut down Maple Ave. in Merchantville Tuesday near the scene where five shots were fired.

Police from Merchantville and neighboring Pennsauken were on scene with rifles drawn. A SWAT Team has been called to scene.

3. Liggio's Husband is Reported to Have Fired 5 Shots

Acccording to WPVI, who reported that at least five shots were fired, they also say "there is not an active search for a suspect at this time."

Co-workers have told police that they heard Miggio saying "No, No, No," before the shots were heard, reports NBC 10.

4. The Neighborhood is on Lockdown

The entire neighborhood at the 7700 block of Maple Avenue is on lockdown.

5. The Couple Had 2 Children

The family lived in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.
